My favourite breed of wool, in a worsted weight.  This yarn embodies the best of both worlds – tough, woolly, pill-resistant.... and divinely soft.  The plump, springy, 4-ply structure gives it fabulous stitch definition – ideal for cables and other texture-rich designs.  It feels a bit "hard" in the skein, due to the firm twist; as you knit with it, the silky smooth texture becomes more apparent, and it blooms into its full glory when washed and blocked (it takes hard blocking very well.)  Each skein is 110 gms, approx. 200 yds.

As can be seen from the representative examples above, the skeins in this batch vary somewhat in the proportions of blue-green and brown. I will accomodate requests as able (depending on remaining stock) and if you are purchasing multiple skeins for a larger project, I will do my best to match them.
