Bluefaced Leicester is a breed of sheep, originally from the UK, which yields an exceptionally soft and lustrous wool.  If you haven’t experienced it before, you are in for a treat.  This particular yarn is a 2 ply fingering weight wool with a nice springy twist, perfect for shawls, scarves, hats, gloves, and sweaters.   Despite its wonderfully soft hand, it is quite hardy and does not pill excessively.  Each skein is 110 gms, approx. 375 yds.  The yardage in this skein is divided into five equal parts, tied end to end for easy ball winding.  Colourways in the Emerging Collection: Daffodil, Orange Crocus, Red Twig Dogwood, Dark Purple Crocus, Fresh Dirt.
