Bluefaced Leicester is a breed of sheep, originally from the UK, which yields an exceptionally soft and lustrous wool.  If you haven’t experienced it before, you are in for a treat.  This particular yarn is a 2 ply fingering weight wool with a nice springy twist, perfect for shawls, scarves, hats, gloves, and sweaters.   Despite its wonderfully soft hand, it is quite hardy and does not pill excessively.  Each skein is 110 gms, approx. 375 yds.
